We just let it drain. We tested to see if there was anything in the flex line that seemed to be causing trouble.
To test if there was anything in that line/system we:
First we bled a bit through the caliper to see how it bled and if the problem was in there. Next we bled directly from the bottom of the rubber line (no difference). Then finally directly from the hardline and again, no difference.
