I am replacing the BMC on my '89 240 with ABS. The old one is a tokico and the new one (pulled of a '91 parts car) says SS on it. Anyway, the wire harnesses on the two cylinders dont seem to fit together. The harness fits right into a ‘socket’ on the Tokico one, but there is no socket on this new one. Rather they wires and a plastic plug come out of it.
Should I cut the plastic plugs off and splice? There is a blue wire and a yellow wire coming from the car and a black wire and a black wire with a white stripe coming off the new BMC.
Any help is very much appreciated!
