Was able to drivers side without a hitch, other than improvising to depress the caliper piston.
Passenger side the rear pad tweaked a bit when coming out and I thought it had bent the top clip, since the pad seemed loose. I elected to put it back to together since when I did my Scooby it was a little loose but was still fine. So I took it for a test drive and heard what sounded like a clicking when braking. So after calling around and striking out on any place carrying the clip kit.
So after talking with JayS for a bit on AIM I decided to tear it all back down again took the top clip off it didn’t look bent at all so I reseated it and the pads and that time the pad seemed to have set correctly and snug.
Second test drive all was well until I did a high accelerate then hard brake and I started hearing a rubbing sounding noise. It eventually went away but when I did a high speed accelerate and hard brake again it seemed to come back.
The pads are Duralast Organic Semi-Metallic
Could the rotor need replaced? Really not sure where to look at all for this.

One thing I should had there is not lose of braking power.
Doing a little googling it might just be the bedding period, any other ideas?[COLOR=“Silver”]
I just changed my pads/rotors all around, and have a slight rubbing once and a while on my pass side.
figured i’d give it a bit, since i regreased the caliper bolts and what not… let everything get worn in for a week or so, if it’s still there ill deal with it then.
I went with cheap organic wearever pads from advanced.
Googling leads me to believe that is the case, will see.
I will probably take a it for a little bit longer test drive today then just advise my wife that it the sound persists (not that she would here it since she doesn’t brake hard.) give it a week and it’s still there I will look further at it.
Also at JayS recommendation looked at splash shield and it wasn’t bent.
So you’re SURE that splash shield is clear all the way around? I helped a friend do the brakes on an S60 and it was fine just sitting there turning the jacked up wheel but the tolerance was SOOO close when the weight would shift it would touch. Upon closer inspection I found we had bent the shield a little bit. A minute or so pounding it back into shape with a screwdriver and hammer and it was all better. Pay close attention to the area where the shield meets the hub. Right there it usually goes inside the rotor a little bit and it’s very easy to tweak it so it touches the spinning center.
Sounds like they just need to bed to me. If you replaced the pads without replacing or machining the rotors, the pads will need some time to bed. How long depends on how bad your rotors are. But IMO if it takes a week to bed you probably should have bought new rotors too.
