brakes online ?

i found r1 concepts n they seem legit.
what you think ?

i usually just buy oem rotors from napa but this seems cheaper. also do you think that drilled rotors still crack ? or was that just the older crappier style. if anything i might go with slotted

my friend bought brakes off the website on ls1tech.com and love it

Stick with unslotted and undrilled rotors…unless you only want looks. Cheap drilled and/or slotted rotors will crack if you use them heavily…can’t go wrong with cheap Autozone blank, which are on par quality-wise with Brambo blanks.

Solid surface rotors offer more surface area to radiate heat in extreme situations, espcially important to a larger car like yours. Just find somewhere cheap to buy plain rotors and be on your way. I assume you’ll be on stock pads?

going with hawk front pads and ebc red stuff rears. I cant find any other pad for the rear of my car unless i go stock. Its hard as hell to find parts for my car !

stick with stock rear pads then…EBC is crappy in my experience.

Consider this…your braking bias in your WS6 is roughly 70F/30R…so adding increased friction in the rear isn’t going to help all that much with sheer stopping ability, not anywhere near the effect of better friction compounds in the front.

Bought powerslots off of Summit.com and Hawk pads off of frozenrotors.com… Both excellent price and fast shipping. No problems!

Ditto on everything Dyingwish said, especially about the EBC’s. Try Strano he’s got more F-body brake/suspension options that you can shake a stick at.

he has a CTS now, not a ws6.

Whoops Cutty’s right, forgot about this post (Its a STS V8)

Go look on tirerack. You’ll get alot more options on everything your looking for.

yeah there is no aftermarket for the STS :frowning: im just going with blanks n good hawk pads up front and the ebc reds in the back because they are easy to find work well and well in stock !!
