Bang for your buck Q45 is a nice setup… slightly larger rotor then 180sx… but my moto is always go big or go home… just get z32 and then never worry about brakes again.

Q45 brakes are 11 inch diameter, 28 mm thick… same diameter as z32 (which come in 26 or 30mm thick). So you aren’t gaining much going to the z32 brakes, except unsprung weight and bling.

well i guess your really track your car hard to need the big brake upgrade. otherwise a street driven car would only need slotted rotors/pads/ss lines.

if you’re doing a big brake upgrade you might as well get the 350Z rotor conversion kit with your Z32 calipers. :smiley:

except that. sliding calipers are the spawn of the devil everyone knows this… plus you get better responce and fade resistance and equal pressure out of the opposed multi pistion design …

z32 brakes sound great, but dont you loose you handbrake with this swap?

People do more research. Pointless posts. You don’t loose you e-brake. re-drilling you can do your self or get a machine shop to do it for like $30. Z32 is the best bang for the buck if my opinion. Why would you waste your time on 180sx brakes with sliders, rusty rotors you have to machine + get pads, unless you bought a front clip I can understand you putting them on.

Theoretically if we didn’t have gravity, resistance of air and other such factors, and perhaps a propulsion system in space, we could accelrate to light speed with our 240sx… COOOOOOOOL. Screw crap trek! :shock:

I was talking about this comment and stating how it is really very easy to get Pags and Rotors and not have to machine anything.
