my drive way… 100 a month
I can handle if it snows once or twice, it just won’t get driven on those days and I’ll be out in the snow like an asshole trying to hurry up and cover up my car. lol
I have no clue if any of you are being smartasses or being serious… but being as I don’t trust a single one of you with my bicycle, I’d appreciate a few garage’s if any of you know any.
Effin, up on RT30 where the Log City Rd starts at now, that new storage joint those can fit a car, call them for a price.
and the fix for steep driveways are 2 presure treated 2X12’s as long as your not putting them up a fucking wall of a drive way they will make good ramps to drive on. I used to have a few little pieces of them in the bed of my truck for getting be into and out fo places
Thanks for the info about garage.
If I can find a garage, I shouldn’t need anything to fix my driveway, but my landlord said he’ll look into it. The grade is a beast, it’s like they just rounded the curb some, slapped some concrete over it and called it done. It’s a beast to take in my truck. lol
drive it year round, who cares about anything. as far as your driveway, its called wood. use it.
The cars in near perfect condition, it’s my baby and I’d NEVER drive it during the winter. Besides the fact that there’s all kinds of salt and sawdust on the roads in the winter, the car’s not heavy enough and my car slides when the ground’s to wet. lol
Whenever shit melts and the roads don’t have salt is usualy a good time to take a summer car out.
Yeah, that’s pretty much common sense, I just wasn’t sure if the majority of people on here who have summer cars had a general date they waited until or what. shrugs
that gets my vote. my car came out in july last year and probably will be june or july this year
doesn’t mean you can’t drive it and just take care of it in the winter. my car slides on dry pavement, still drive it in the winter, rwd cars are suppose to slide.
When the hell do you put it away for the winter?!
I’m not interested in taking my chances. I’ve got a truck and the mustang. Besides, the mustang is a gas hog, so I don’t even drive it ALL summer, just take it out for joy rides.
The cars been pretty babied, I’d like to keep it that way.
whenever something catastrophic happens. for 2009 it was october 25th. done deal. but usually first salt/track closes is a good time to put it away
2008 was november. in 08 i had my car out in late march on dry days.
i can’t comprehend a car being babied. even my mr2 got driven in the winter. i can’t go long without driving my cars. longest i ever kept my cars away (not driving them more then once a month) was mid march.
I drove the 911 several times in February and March last year… I just felt like it, and there was no snow on the ground, and washed it every time I did to make sure no salt was on/under it.
Mine was in the driveway and done being driven end of October or early November, then covered and put away by the 10th or so.
I <3 this car. lol It’s DEFINITELY an obsession, I tried to buy the car away from my mom’s boyfriend almost daily for about 3 years. I can see driving it in the winter when it hasn’t snowed in a while… but covering it and uncovering it is a pain in the ass for me to do by myself, so instead of asking someone to help me do that 10 times over the winter, I put her away.
Besides, it’s got no heat and it’s a rag top… can you say COLD?! lol
its a mustang ,how clean can it be esp if it spent any time in the northeast im sure it has seen snow .just drive it already
As far as I know, it’s never been driven in the winter. It’s got a few scuff marks on it, but at most there’s one “scratch” on it that won’t buff completely out.
Post pictures of this imaculate fox. I would love to see it.
If I can find any that are good, I will. She definitely NEEDS a new interior, it looks like the exterior’s either been babied to hell (at least since it was painted green) but the interior is gross.
Thats why I want pictures. Everything I’ve heard about like green mirror tint green interior and mirror tint make it sound like not my cup of tea.
