Breaking Point

How much hp/torque at the wheels do you think it would take to be able to break grip from 10" wide wheels with falken st-615’s?

to amny variables to think of to give you an exact number. But from a stand still if you launched hard enough you would most likley be able to smoke them in stock configuration, that is dry ground, 35psi in the tires, cold pavment and cold tires.

if your trying to figure out what kind of torque your gonna need to spin them @ 100kmh its hard to say, I know there is a mustang at work with 600ft/lbs and he breaks his 245/45/17 555 nittos on the highway when he steps on it.

I brake loose my 10’s with 245’s in first and sometimes in second. And they chrip very easily into 3rd.

And i only have 272 TQ and 263 HP.

There is no way to put a set number on something like this. Work on your car control instead of just planting your foot. Problem solved.

Yes, but you have a good bit of negative camber in the back. If you have close to zero camber you’ll have a lot more grip.

2.5 degrees. Very little. i believe stock 350z’s come with 2.75 to 3 from the factory.

Great question…

I am working on my car rathing than just plantin my foot. I’m trying to go for a nice figure for power and a suspension setup for a ka-t drift car. I don’t think my car (N/A) will be able to spin these tires the way it is right now. . .

Rev it to redline and dump the clutch… It will spin the tires.
