Hi Everybody,

Couple guys already know me but many do not. My name is Mike Degli Angeli
and i run a company called Brightside Coatings. I’m a long time dsm’er and still am at heart but after being around so many this past summer the bug has biten…

We specializes in powder coating for the automotive, motorcycle and recreational vehicle market. I’m located in the east end in pickering. This is a part time business for me but still pride myself in offering quick turn arounds and a qualtiy product.

At Brightside emphasis is always placed on acquiring high quality, durable finishes that result in great visual appearances for your particular application. Powder coat can be applied to any metal substrate. This includes items such as valve covers, intake manifolds, intercooler piping, intake piping, rims, motorcycle tanks, pegs, and much more. Parts can be customized to match anything from OEM finishes to wild and crazy flip-flopping colours, candies and metallics.

Powder coating is an advanced method of applying a decorative and protective finish onto a wide range of materials used in both the consumer and industrial market. It is a highly resistant finish that will retain its luster and appearance over many years. With the ability to withstand harsh environments such as an engine bay, it is a durable finish that can resist oils, heat and impact. Powder coating is a much better alternative to any sprayed coating either from an aerosol can or a paint gun. You can be assured that a powder coated piece will last through many years of heat cycles, impacts and will clean up with ease back to its original finish.

Valve Cover from $60 (Regular colour) from $85 (Candy finish)

Calipers from $50

Rims from $45 (per wheel)

TIP: bringing a bunch of stuff to be coated a single colour will save you money from saving me multiple setups of the gun and powder waste.

One quick question. Do your prices include media blasting or is that additional?

Media blasting is included. the price is for you to drop off a dirty, oil cover just as it came off your motor.

Valve covers are chemically stripped to avoid contamination of particles from basting making their way into your engine.

i’m located just north of the 401 on brock rd in pickering.

I will be putting together a bunch of pictures to show all of you some of my past work.

Plus i’m finally finding time to do my own track rims this week. Lets just say there going to be a bit more exciting then mirror black:D

Do you have mirror chrome powder?

Thanks, Mitch! ONIJDM’s EVO 1 has a lime greem cover on it:D

I do have mirror chrome but i’m not a big fan of the colour myself since if your expecting a chrome appearance your going to be disappointed in the finish. Its finish is more of a really shiny sliver.

What are the sizes of materials that you’re able to accommodate? Are you able to do sub frames or any thing larger? I don’t know what everyone might have around here… that’s larger then a sub frame, but you never know.

Subframes are probably the largest pieces i’d be willing to do. I’m not setup to do complete frames and such.

If anyone has anything large. Just let me know and i’ll see what i can do with it.

hey, do you guys rebuild calipers too? jw, i have a friend that wants his calipers rebuilt and powder coated.
