I saw Brix and thought someone got some cool seats.

The rundown of the lesson:
Get there, meet your plane (usually a cessna 162 or 182 depending on how many people you want to bring-you can bring two others with you)
Inspect plane with instructor, basic pre-flight inspection.
Hop in, start that shit, taxi that shit.
Take off
Fly around for an hour or so, this includes power failure simulation (cut power to motor, glide, start it back up, continue) as well as a bunch of other maneuvers/techniques (just basic turnsing, rolling, climbing, etc.
Touch-and-go…this is the white knuckles part of the flight, you basically circle the airport, come in for a landing, touch the front two wheels down, then take off again.
Circle around the airport again and come in for a landing
Taxi, park, done.
and yes, you actually do, hands on, everything I listed. All of that was my FIRST lesson too, this was at the ballston spa airport though, it’s not listed on richmor’s site anymore. :shifty
all of that for only $100??? any prerequisites?? damnn
My first lesson I was literally 12.
No prerequisites, at the time…but that was pre-9/11.
Lol at him pulling off the side of the road
Yeah especially if they just non chalantly strolled into the business they parked at, as if they meant to do it and were just out shopping or something.
