don’t know how long its going to be up, but heres the link

lesnar is a big doofus.

The Ref saved Mir(he stopped the match and took a point from Lesnar for ONE hit to the back of the head that Mir rolled into…Lesnar is dumb as a rock but the man was built to fight… within the next year or so he will have a title belt

I was disappointed, Lesnar needs to stick to wrestling, for his size its going to take a shitload of conditioning and training to have enough stamina to last a full bout. I was surprised that his ground defense against the submission was so weak. Had his arms not been the size of trees Mir would’ve had him tap much earlier lol.

I know there is no excuse for loosing. But i got to give lesnar props he came out and dam near beat the shit out of mir. I think if it wasnt for the submission technics of mir lesnar would of won.

Thats why its MMA … Not boxing, wrestling, etc …

I don’t know shit about MMA, but that looked pretty entertaining. I personally don’t think its fun when they do all that technical shit where it looks like they are humping each other into submission.

At least Lesnar looks like he just goes balls to the wall with punches and wrestling moves and tries to beat the shit out of the other guy.

You’re out of your mind if you think Lesnar isnt in shape. Its only his 2nd MMA fight and he goes against a former world heavyweight champ Frank Mir! Thats like playing playing golf with Tiger the second time you pick up a club.

He successfully beat the living shit out Mir, took him down in the first 4 seconds of the bout. Mir was powerless against the elbow strikes and hammer fists, he’s lucky he didnt get knocked out. But then I think everyone but Lesnar saw that knee bar coming… Once Brock gains some more experience he’s going to be a very dangerous MMA fighter.

Oh i forgot thanks for reminding me. Duh

the submission moves were Mir’s only defense, if Lesnar had been able to stay out of them, Mir wouldn’t have stood a chance.

My point exactly

I never disagreed with anyone … All I said is its MMA … Which it is … It dosn’t matter how fucking good you are at this & that … But if you slacking on one point, & the other fighter has that point as his top game … Your going to get caught (Duh) … MY point exactly

This is the beauty of MMA. That fight could have gone either way, one solid elbow strike to Mir’s chin and he gets knocked out…OR…One slip up from Lesnar and he gets tapped out. That way either fighter could win on any given day.

x2 … I was never taking ANY credit away from Lesnar … Or anyone saying that he came close to beating the living fucking shit out of Mir … Which he did … But Frank Mir’s submission skills are good … I have been watching MMA for at least 4 years now … Ive seen so many fights that everyone thought was a “no brainer” … and it totally went the other way with just one slip-up … MMA FTW!

+1…lesnar looked dominate as hell…his fearless attitude tho got the best of him as well as his lack of experience. If he was more cautious of the guard/submission moves which he should have known was coming from Mir as Mir is very good at that, Lesnar could have easily won that fight.

Give him abit of time and more training, and i think he will be a dangerous fighter… his superior strength will be hard to beat on the ground once he gains experience of defending against submission moves and the guard posistions.

lesnar lacks experience. he is def built to be a scrapper. but with some more training with right people he can easily dominate. i saw many missed opportunities in that short time that he could have easilly put the ankle lock on MIR no prob. but he lacks the excperience IMO. like everyone else said he looks like the man to watch in the next year.

…lets not forget that this was Frank Mir’s second fight back after a motorcycle accident that left him dehabilitated for years.

Frank Mir was a beast before the accident. Now, he’s a shadow of his former self. If I recall he got beat pretty solidly in his first match back. That said, he still beat Brock.

Now, imagine Brock in there with one of the current “A list” MMA heavyweights (Fedor, Couture, Cro Cop…ect)…

I think it’d be really entertaining to see Brock fight one of the top rung 205lb guys. Imagine Brock vs Chuck Liddell or Quinton Jackson. I miss the old days of the UFC.

x2 100% guys an animal will def be a huge force in the ufc…even though there not in the same weight class i would love to see him fight rampage once he gets good

Oh thanks for explaining that to me (duh)

Your Welcome
