Buffalo Athletic Club v Spinning Class

Wow. Just stared working out at the BAC and did a spinning class.

Sore as hell but it was a crazy workout. Tons of great looking girls there too.

spin classes are fun, i need to get my ass to them more

Haven’t looked into any classes yet. Just started my membership there last week. What location you go to?

spinning class is great cardio. i used to think it was kind of girly till i did it and i was complaining like one afterwards

Are the “rides” like an hour? Ive thought about doin this a few times but i just cant seem to get to the Bac early enough on the weekend to do one. IMO its prob best to do it at EHM BAC or BLVD BAC.

idk bout the bac but at the Y they have either 1/2 hour 45 minute or hour classes

i go to the southtowns one. spinning classes are so tough hahaha. im out of shape

I’m going to what seems to be the least popular, the one downtown.

I’m surprised more suits aren’t going to that one considering its a hop and a skip away from a lot of work places. I work and live a 10 minute walk from it, so it made sense to me to go to. It’s also a good way to warm up on the way there and slow down on teh way home.

i think at the bac there 45 or an hour… i go to the southtowns location… good place

but seriously
who cannot stand the naked old dudes that walk around wt their towel on their shoulder. WTF is up with that… its like, you walk in the locker room to change and get smacked in the face by old bastards naked… so damn grossss. PUT THAT FUCKING TOWEL ON

how do you like it there? I’m trying to decide between that and KC’s Fitness. KC’s is so close to my house is the big thing, plus not a lot of people. However downtown bac has half court basketball. Are there just games of 21 going on all the time?

at my gym some old guy was seroisly cutting his pubes, I flipped shit, he thought nothig was wrong

I just started last week, OK so far. Haven’t gone to the court, never that into basketball anyway so wouldn’t know.

Yeah i might have you beat with the old dude blow drying his junk .
Or the dude that feels the need to powder his junk 3ft from the entrance.
or the guy who “just has” to talk as loud as he can when he’s naked.

Locker room etiquite, some people just need to learn it.///

IMO and off topic even more it would be sweet if they had classes in some martial arts, like muai tai or krav maga or mma , shit along those lines…

I just signed up at the one downtown becuase its near my house. I go afterwork for the 5:30 class. Its 45 minutes and as tough as you want to go since you decide what difficulty scale you use. Its fun tho. There is all types of people in the classes from over wait middle age people to bodybuilding guys. I am not a big workout person so this is cool to get me involved in working out. If its quiet after I usually run over and do some arms and legs before I head out. I dont use the locker rooms. Just come home and change before and after. I dont play basketball either.

SO one thing I’ve noticed about the gym so far. They like making phone calls. Seriously, I have been called about a dozen times since I joined. Shit, you made the sale, leave me alone.

I’m going to be doing this in the cycling off season to keep my legs up. It is just so hard for me to motivate myself to get on a stationary bike though, half hour on a stationary/my trainer feels longer then a 50 mile ride outside.

whats it like being gay?

Haha ya. I know some people that get yelled and stuff. I told the guy straight up that I am really unmotivated enough to work out and only there really for the classes. If I get called a lot why I am not there, I will stop going all together so they pretty much leave me alone.

I don’t understand it either. You sign a contract and are there for the year, if you don’t go they still get paid either way.

Ya but they play music and change it up a bit so its not bad. I think its fun and I like seeing a few of the girls in the class each week.

wait, your gyms call you to see why you are not there?

i  my gym.

Ya the BAC does. Apparently they want to solve the weight problem in America one customer at a time.
