Alot of newer cars have weight sensors that automatically turn the passenger airbag off.
My truck has it, my Elantra did and my dad’s Focus does.

Anyway I dont thing the Bug has rear seats anymore. None in the pics.

Not the point PJB…

I would neverr have my daughter in the front seat of a car**, especialy with an airbag… airbags have caused many fatalities in young children
