Things I am doing battery relocation to trunk, intake manifold polishing,valve cover polishing,new carpet & Matt,new tires, ect. Pictures will appear as project goes. I am also removing a lot of stuff to clean up the engine bay.

IIRC, it is illegal to have a child in a carseat in the front of any vehicle when the child can be placed safely in the back seat of the car.
I personally know a few cops that have given people some serious shit for letting their kids sit upfront in a carseat in a vehicle where the passenger airbag can’t be turned off.
In a truck with a bench seat/no extended cab, the carseat may be upfront but the passenger airbag must be turned off. I have to have my daughter in the front seat of my ranger, but no passenger airbag, and I only do it if I absoloutely have to… I hate it when I have to pick her up from my wifeys work in the truck…
Alot of newer cars have weight sensors that automatically turn the passenger airbag off.
My truck has it, my Elantra did and my dad’s Focus does.
Anyway I dont thing the Bug has rear seats anymore. None in the pics.

You are all crazy i never race with my kid in the car.The F**king baby seat is up front because I pulled it out of the back to clean the back the car. the car has not been on the road since last October. way to get off topic. my daughter has not used a car seat in over a year she is almost 6years old and 4’ tall she is in a booster seat.

The interior is out because vw did a recall on sun roof drains and if you your car has any sighns of moisture they will get you new carpet and the matt under it. So I killed 2 birds with 1 stone I ran the wire under the carpet to the trunk .
