Building a turbo manifold

So I’m pretty sure that I’m set on fabbing up my own turbo manifold for the honda. This is obviously the first time I’ve done something like this and I think it will be a good experience. Now I have a few questions. What type of steel should I use? Mild? What gauge and diameter? How do you figure out what is the best to use? Are there any good websites to order from?

stainless 304, shedule 10. you can get everything you need here including collector.

i think you need a spool gun but i could be wrong

you need 309 wire. you don’t need a spool gun. spool gun is for soft metals like AL wire.

so 309 is for stainless?

309 is for mild to stainless, usually. Use 308 for 304 to 304 joints.

kk…thanks for the info dude

id just use schedule 40 mild steel in 1.5" id. stainless expands alot more than mild and ive never had any mild manifold i made crack… but im not a bling bling polished stainless kinda person anyway
