It wasn’t the fact that bolt on parts were being installed, that’s not where my criticism came from.
As far as your assumption that it is ego related, that’s almost as relevant of an excuse as someone calling me a “hater”.

You should work R&D at one of those companies then and tell them.
All exhaust are NOT the same, granted, they do the same job, but quality of material, bends, fitment and overall sound play a role too.
It’s more than likely made out of 409. It will rust. Give a couple months.
I painted mine and it lasted a little bit longer. it also just kind of covers things up so who knows if it actually worked or not lol
If you dont want the muffler black you can just primer and paint everything else. It will also smell for a bit.
Again this is just a bandaid and wont cure everything
And if it doesn’t rust, it will dent at some point. They are so cheaply made now that they can’t withstand any sort of blow without denting, thus restricting your airflow.
Truth ^ my car is super low and it dented and put a hole in it . Pipe cracked and so did the weld. I had it rewelded and basically put a thick crash plate at the point of impact lol
I could hit my exhaust breetime made me with a cannonball and it probably wouldnt crack, nor dent 
All exhausts rust, heat and water cause rust over time. If you ask me the exhaust sounds great, alot of people says it does. The welds on the exhaust are actually very very good welds. IMO the overall quality is impressive. Carry on tho. It’s the one and only eBay part on my car. So if you wanna nickname this car the eBay machine go ahead, in the end the catback is the only eBay part.
No paint either, waste of money. Also any exhaust will dent, i don’t care what brand it is.
In the near future I will visit him for a exhaust.
Your’e one of those kids who has to try everything himself aren’t you? You don’t like to use advice of any of the experienced members on here who have been around the block. That’s ok though, you will only cost yourself money and time, but eventually you will learn to take the help of the older guys who have been in your shoes and are just trying to offer you some advice.
Not everyone here is a prick. Some of us bust your balls, but half of it is just trying to help you out and help you avoid making stupid mistakes in your “build”. Try to ask for a little more advice instead of explaining your logic and why you do the things you do. We know why you do it, but it’s like beating a dead horse trying to get you to understand why people bust your balls.
