just changed my brake pads, drove it around but when i stopped at a red light there was this burning smell. Drove the car home and parked it got out and the smell was coming from the brake pads. It smelled like burnt oil or burnt clutch kind of smell.
This is right after i changed the pads. Any clue?
yea thats nromal their brake in period requires silicone burn off, unless your pads are rubbing which you should be able to tell easily
Complitly normal, you should smell the pdi cars that come into the shop after the test drives, stinks really bad, but yeah thats just the coating on the pads burning off
