I was told its cheaper in ohio to buy a bike cause of no sales tax or something along those lines? Is this true and are there any downsides to buying one in ohio? When i bring it back to pa do i have to pay anything?

not true. you will be paying the sales tax of purchase price once you title it in PA. Just like a car.

if u r buying a motocross bike it will work, because its sold as ‘closed course only’ and u dont have to register it. but for anything street legal u r gonna pay taxes no matter what. when i buy my next mx bike in a month or so i’m buying in Ohio.
I’ve heard of a place in ohio that doesn’t charge a assembly fee. I can’t remember the name though… Supposedly good prices too.

if the store really wants to sell the bike you can get them to waive the assembly fee i got them to ditch the assembly fee and the freight charges on mine
