Buying car out of state registration question...??

So I’ll be driving to Virginia in the AM to pick up the new car. Will the dealer down there give me a PA plate or do I get one when I get back.

I guess the real questions is, will I save any money taking my PA plate (still current) from my accord with me?

I’m assuming they will give me some temporary thing to drive back with then I have to register it here… can anyone confirm this? The accord plate is not here and I don’t feel like going to get it before I leave.

They will only be able to give you a temp plate in Virginia if you are getting it at a dealer. When you bring the car back here to PA you will just have to go transfer your old PA plate or get a new one. I do not think there is much if any difference in price.

also you cant register with out a new copy of the tittle. even if you finance you will have to get a copy from the finance company. i just went throught it a few months ago buying the truck in ohio. it was a pain in the ass and will never buy a car out of state agian
