My only suggestion would be to switch out the burner for one that doesn’t say OEM. If you buy a retail version you will get all the installation software and a burning program like Nero.
Also if you switch you monitor for one without built in speakers it will save you a little money. It seems a shame to have that nice sound card and run it through some crappy built in speakers.
A friend of mine showed my combination to his buddy who works for IBM and he was very impressed with it. One thing he did mention though was the installation of the CPU and Memory in the Mobo can be one of the more troublesome things. If you go to www.mwave.com you can buy a motherboard, memory, and CPU and they will put it together and test it to make sure everything works and ship it to you completed. All for only $9 more.
cpu installation is alot easier now taht u dont have to slam the heatsink on there. amd has those new heatsinks with the handle where all u do is move a lever and it snaps into place.
True but be that as it may, I certainly like the idea of getting the CPU, Mobo and memory assembled and tested to make sure its functional for a mere $9.
I hear of so many people getting boards or memory that is dead right out of the box. This will avoid me putting my fist through the wall of my office.
It’s not so hard to snap the memory into place. They can only go in 1 direction. I have a mobo/cpu along with the hdd, and memory. It’s a P4 2.8 1M cache.
9$ is alot! haha jk i just built an amd 64 3700+ and didnt ahve a single problem… but i also built a thunderbird back in the day which i had a million problems with… luck of the draw i guess
edit: i thought the new lever is amazing… 100 times easier then taking a screwdriver and pushin on the heatsink clip as hard as possible
is it possible to upgrade the graphics card in a laptop, a friend went to Bestbuy to upgrade his so he can play some of the more recent video games and they told him it wasn’t possible that the only thing you can do to a laptop is upgrade the memory.
