What is it with GTP’s and life problems. I’m not ever buying a GTP.
You guys are too young to be worrying about careers and shit. I’m 26 and just started to goto school for an associates degree. I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up. Don’t let it get you down. My cousin just got his 1st job at the age of 32(he bummed shit off friends his whole life) and he is doing pretty good for himself. You’ll figure it out, but not by beating yourself up over it or drinking the little money you have away. There are more productive ways to find a job than that.
Trust me you’ll be 30 before you know and well you better be on the ball before then. The future for us doesn’t look so hot, without medicare/social security or other gov’t assisted programs we could be fitting the bill for retirement all by ourselves. That is gonna suck… The one piece of advice I can give you is to try to have another job before quitting your current one.
Sometimes jobs aren’t readily available and well that adds problems if you have bills and don’t get a job. Sometimes you can bury yourself and it takes 2/3 years to get out of the hole.
I don’t see myself working on computers the rest of my life, and i’m still young enough to change careers completely, and maybe 2-3 more times after that. A 20 year old has ample time to figure out what he/she wants to do. I just don’t see what the rush is.
I agree with having another job before quitting your current one and that retirement is going to be tough for our and future generations.
