i am thinking that is not stock byt he sound, but the time seems on par. i like the way it sounds, but i would be surprised if chevy brought the car to the table that loud, even if it is a z06.
That launch didn’t look perfect.
I would think you would need a perfect launch to break into 11.xxx with a stock zo6.
The Z06 basically has a built in electronic cutout in its exhuast, only it operates automatically. Closed when idling, open when at high RPM, so it could easily be the stock exhuast. Either way those are the ETs expected, that is damn close to 10 sec MPH with a tire under it. You have to remember its 3100lbs with 450rwhp and 7 liters of torque producer :tup:

That car has got weigh about what my car weighs.(my Evolution)
no way the vettes have always been light … mine weighes in at 3165 exactly without driver … (weighed on a real scale on a real track)
and don’t forget the motor is built out of the box also so power adders aren’t an issue … it’s just finding vette owners who liek to actually drive their cars and not do the grandpa pussy foot
My car weighs about 3200. (Estimated).
I personally don’t consider 3000+ light.

i agree with badazz the new Z06s have built in electric cutouts that open up over 3000 rpm, look up on th net some dude rigged it up so they are open all the time, its really loud and yet its still a stock exhaust
