No matter what you say about the GT500, c16, a big twin screw or turbo and alot of boost will have no problem making 1000rwhp on the stock short block…

and on a twin screw alone may be close, even for a 3.4 whipple that is a lot of power to make on a twin screw alone. probably would need a shot of the sauce to make 1000rwhp on a screw blower

What are “stock” GT500s running in the 1/4mi. on average? I hear 12.8 down to 12.0 NO MODS AT ALL. Does that sound correct?

…and who puts meth/water injection on a roots or twin screw blower??

In a 5.0 mag I got awhile back a GT500 ran low 11s with MT DRs, headers, pulley, exhaust, intake, and tune. I think it was puttin down 550ish rwhp.
