The only thing we took of that would affect your sub would be the negative terminal… You might have to reset you bass settings on your deck. Remember the front speakers are where the amp takes power from.
I just remember you have an aftermarket deck. You will have to play with your settings… One thing I had to do with my 04 with Panasonic deck was fade it back to 3 or 4 on the fader to get the proper volume out of the rear. I also have to do this with my current JVC deck also. But the fronts will give you the bass you need. Also turn the loud on, on that deck :E
As for my settings, yes I did set everything back to what I had before the install, but it still doesn’t seem to work. Never realized how crappy our system sounds without the sub. Guess I gotta make a trip to Nissan. :vom:
Did you check the amp wires? It hangs in the rear deck in your trunk. Maybe when you put all of that original air box into your car could of disconnected it. Or if you look behind the carpet on the right side the car you can release the right seat and actually see the sub connection.
Yeah nothing that we did would have affected your Sub. When I first got my car I had to get 2/4 new speakers in the rear cause they all blewout. It took Nissan 7 months to get them in cause they were on back order I couldn’t believe it.
Thanks for the replies guys. I also thought that it was strange that removing the battery would do anything to the sub.

Also, I brought my car in on Nov 9 or something this year, because my speaker was rattling(Ericksen). They told me they would take care of it and give me a call.
So i waited until 7:30 wondering Where the F**k is my car/phone call? I call them and they tell me it’s ready.
Long story short, they didi absolutely nothing with my car. I get a call 2 weeks later telling me that my “part” was in. They ordered a new sub for me, not the speaker :rolleyes: . I have been too busy to go in lately so I never got it done yet, and of course they didn’t call me again. I wonder if they still have it…This would solve my problem, but that damn speaker is still rattling :roll:
Trust me Mills is worth the drive. Every thing that needed to be taken care of was. They always had everything i’ve orderd from them in a day. Awsome service.
Ericksen does provide fantastic service to people that buy expensive Nissans.
When I go in there and talk to them about my SE-R, they look at me like they want me to die. When my mom takes her loaded Murano in, they fall all over themselves trying to serve her.
I got the car there and was happy with the service I got, but if Mills is more mod friendly I’d switch dealerships, because Ericksen HATES mods.
Stealerships that hate mods should burn to the ground, it doesn’t cost them a dime to over look a mod (…or two 8) ). And honestly if I bought a car and a dealership didn’t give me good service afterwards because I’m a car Enthusiast they can be damn sure I would not be a returning customer. GO MILLS, GO MILLS… uhhuh yeah :finga:
I bought my car @ West End Nissan… When I went there to get my floor mats checked the service manager came out with a screw driver trying to pull the teeth out on the floor mat hook. Anyway it didn’t work and he said he couldn’t help… :vom: CRAP… So I went to mills and he came out pull the floor mat out… look and said par will be here tomorrow after 1… AND IT WAS. too 2 min to change.
