www.dasautoshippers.com DAS is the lowest I’ve used them many times… (if is far west or far south) but if it is close in the north eastern area I have a friend in the business that does it cheaper then any shipping company-example Hartford, CT $200. Detroit, MI $300. Jacksonville, FL $400

I’ve used carmoves.com three times. They insure the car fully, and they contract out the work to drivers local to here. I had a guy with a f450 dualie show up at my house, with a 3 car longneck trailer to tow my f150 to texas. He made it there in 2 days. Faster than fedex.

You post an ad with the details of what needs to be shipped and when and your price range and transporters “bid” on it. I only used it to get prices, seemed to work alright.

I’ve shipped 3 cars in the past 3 years. I believe 2 of them I used autotransportdirect like you listed above. Everything worked out alright. I had the drivers cell # and the cars showed up right on time. I paid $200 more to ship my Cobra in an enclosed trailer and was very pleased with the company.

U-ship for sure, collect some bids and try to counter with some of those companies. I had good success with them when I had a bike shipped from Indiana to Syracuse.

Montway bidded on my shipping listing on u-ship. They came in a few hundred bucks lower than their website price. I think I paid $1100 to ship a Rav4 from Lockport to my door in Austin TX.

I had a car shipped from California to New York by Dependable Auto Shippers. Cost $1400, took 2 weeks. I wouldn’t recommend them. They damaged my car while shipping it.

Thats what I hear from everybody. Nobody has had a problem with DAS but me. My car was brand new with 6 miles on it and they scratched it and dented it to the bare metal. And then refused to take ownership of their mistakes.

My Trans Am was shipped from here to California using DAS, I believe the price was somewhere around $800 and it was enclosed for the main leg of the trip. It made it there and as far as I know everything went well.

I used DA Auto Shippers to have my Evo shipped from California to NY. I don’t recommend them. They scratched part of the car and dented the hood without fixing the car. They offered me $100 because I didn’t buy their insurance. I had full insurance through State Farm.
