You can put it on the car and let it dangle, then push the brake pedal. That usually gets them out, but it’s messy and the piston can go flying sometimes… use something to stop it from flying across the garage and damaging something, just in case.
Other than that, heating up the caliper without heating the piston too much can help sometimes.
Or if they’re stock 240 calipers, just buy a used one for $20 and save yourself a lot of hassle.
thats a good idea with the useing the car to puch them out, except it broke the nipple off in an accident last month…
ill try heating it i guess.
an theyre z32 calipers or else id get new ones lol…
yo what happend man??
Heh, I tried this before. My calipers were so screwed up, the pistons wouldn’t move at all, couldnt even get the new brake pads. I tried rebuild, but I couldn’t get the piston to move, i tried everything, putting in a vice, c-grip. I just decided to go with new calipers, not worth all my time. GOODLUCK
Use lots of lube and penetration fluid.
Put them in a vice grip, and try twisting them around, applying lube as you do.
Eventually they’ll come out.
Good luck.
