yes, i called out ben to do a race.
this was the race 40mph -110… heres the catch, in 5th gear, i yanked till about 110 or so then i shut down. i had to roll in/ out of the throttle due to my clutch slipping but once i past the peak torque it was over for ben.

lemme try the “hairspray” thing on my slipping clutch and if it holds up, we can go from a 40-110… i’ll be in my highest gear, as will you.

What’s the difference in shutting down at 110 or 140, your going to get arrested either way if you get pulled over.

I drive a honda civic, gets unstable above 110-120.
It’s stupid racing to that kind of speeds, it shows nothing but a car’s gearing as at those speeds the driver is no longer shifting.
I don’t really care because if you’re racing in the first place and you get caught, you’re fucked. risk we’re willing to take i guess?

It was pretty funny, and I wasn’t at WOT the first 5th gear race just to let you know, I wanted to see what it could do from fifth and I wanted to heat soak you :haha
We’ll do it again, but that last time we went from 40 in 5th I went WOT and, well, you know what happened then.
I don’t do too bad for torque either :nod
(that pull was actually started at 1750 or so, the rpm pickup isn’t perfect as Seth actually hit the rev limiter, at 7200, not 6950)
