What you do with your money is 100% your and Rita’s business, no one else’s. However, I think you fail to see that posting your financials, even as minimal as “I don’t have $xxx until the spring”, allows people into your private life. You can’t honestly expect to not receive comments about how you spend your money based on the limited info you allow people to see.
Ultimately, it’s a forum: EVERYONE has a comment. It’s how you react to those comments that makes people come back for more.
How’s the savings going towards your CDL? Have you decided to not get it? Did you inherit $$ that is being set aside until the spring?
