can anyone get a hookup w/ fios?

People do have favorite providers and brand loyalty, but as fshowcars pointed out, you are limited to whoever is providing service in your area.

About %75 of the installs that I complete in a week are either Adelphia or Comcast customers switching for cheaper internet.

The other subscribers are existing Verizon subs that want to upgrade.

he left out that at his install speed. 75% is only 3 installs :booty:

^on a good week^:finger2:

i think once you get into aarp, it’s alright to be at a “slow-pace”

j/k

 hero ftl

Actually, this week it is only 3 installs!

ok, so 5mbps fios here i come!

Hopefully you will get one of the uber fast FiOS hooker uppers grnteg98 or vichix. They can make your 5Mbs run at 10Mbs. They work so fast…:burnout: :kekegay:

Hey teg…10-7 DOES suck for OT. I think I got a whopping 2 hours last week.

BTW…I heard one of the Cu guys is going to file a grievance against us for workin’ OT outside our area. You hear anything?

the rumor mill churns…

ya, we’re not allowed, diff admin group for west mifflin garage… ot is gonna get shut down if bau has their way. fuck it, i got 11.5 hours last week. that’s over 320 for the year.:hsdance:

so you wouldnt be able to hook up “the same” speedy in my area? ross twp?

I was being a bit sarcastic, mainly in response to my coworkers. I hope they have a VZ day!

Verizon has already started increasing FiOS speeds at no additional charge, especially in areas where Comcast is running their commercials that say their HSI is faster than FiOS. They offer 6 Mbps DL and 16 Mbps DL packages, but most people rarely ever see the full download speed.

Our 5Mbps/2Mbps package will increase to 10Mbps down.

If you don’t want the phone service you can get Internet only on credit card billing and it is $34.95 a month. I have seen alot of people that only get FiOS internet and then using Sun Rocket or another VoIP provider for a very low monthly cost.

i didn’t know you worked in sales???

cool. im gonna call tomorrow

cool.

They probably won’t know when the faster speeds (10Mbps) are going to be in effect in this area, but you can ask. For now you will have to settle for the 5Mbps or 15Mbps download speeds.
