wax my carbon-fiber hood…I got it about a year ago… what do you think??

yea you’re supposed to. It helps keep the clear coat in tact. moving to general car section.
i buffed mine with 3m compound and waxed it… s’all good
okay…next question:
I am going to claybar my car, should I just NOT do the hood and just wax it ( seeing as how it isn’t in bad shape )?
From what i saw from your car last night,your hood looks like its in good shape. I would just wax it and it should probaly be fine.
If you had to, you can wetsand it down and get it re-cleared if it gets faded over time

dtm I saw you driving out of the strip last night when I was pullin in. As for the hood I don’t think it would be a problem waxing it.
