Can't wait till the rain stops

I have my new intake and TB installed and the puter is tuned and ready to go. I couldn’t make it last week because my appointment for the tuning was on monday. Damn now its raining.

The new set up made the extra power that was promised. 30 peak hp from the 78 mm FAST intake and the 80mm BBK I had on there. My HP previously peaked at 6900 rpms then it started dropping off down to 512 hp through the traps. Well, now it doesn’t drop off that much at all. Before 530 hp at 6900 rpms and at 7400 rpms 512 hp. Now 560 hp at 6900 rpms and 558 hp at 7700 rpms. I’m real pleased with the results. Should get me a couple of 10th’s and a few mPH. I hope anyway. :dunno: See you next week at the track.

going to PRP? i’ve gotta see your car run

Yes PRP. Saturday if it’s not raining.

I think I’ll come out too.

next saturday?

of the closet?

haha you’re funny for an old man

I think since it was nice for 2 weeks that its gonna rain for the next 2 weeks

:frowning: SNOW :frowning:

Let’s put the chains on and make some sparks!

Where’s Spring?

this weather is totally crap, no doubt about it. I’m kinda anxious to get up to PRP too though. I finally got everything on that I wanted to have before I ran again, and now the weather turns to shit. Oh well, that’s western PA I guess.

That’s for sure. I’m tempted to move to eastern Ohio.

cancun

I hear the weather there is so much nicer, too far to move though. :bigthumb:

Tom - nice ride man… sweet as hell

Thanks man. I appriciate it.

what intake and tb are you running now? Nice pickup on the dyno!

It is a BECK sheet metal intake and a ACCUFAB 105 mm TB. Thanks man
