amen to this lol
I was really hoping for something like this:
Good news:
I let the air out of his tires, so he was late to his redneck job again and he was fired. I was expecting him to get reprimanded so I wasn’t planning on him to be coming home as I was pounding his wife. He walked in right as I finished on her face, luckily so I jumped out the back window and ran home. That’s where the cops grabbed me, to let me know they had my stuff.
Today I didn’t even have to use my AK, I got to say it was a good day.

My wife is picking up the items today from the police department.
- Sat night to Sun early morning, TOT Police arrested 3 people who were caught with GPS units in the back of their car - placed in jail.
- The detective I was working with called me Sunday and said he was going to go to the TOT police station and see if any of the GPS units were mine - none were mine.
- The detective showed the ad to the people in jail. One of them admitted they took it from my wife’s car and said he sold it to his neighbor across the street (5 streets over from me).
- Neighbor across the street was the one who was selling the items on craigslist.
- The detective went to the person’s house who was selling my belongings and confronted him. He first denied it but then was showed the craigslist ad. He had a certain time period to deliver the items to the detective before an arrest warrant would be issued.
Conclusion:
- 3 people were arrested and will be charged with stealing and selling stolen items
- The car break-ins should decrease within the Town of Tonawanda/Kenmore areas
- The person who I thought stole my stuff didn’t, but his neighbor across the street did.
 Glad to hear this ended well
GOOD TO HEAR! This is exactly why you shouldnt have f’ed with the guys stuff, he wasnt even the one who stole it (granted he def knew the stuff was stolen) btw who the hell still uses gps units let alone keeps them in their car in plain sight
wicked awesome.
GPS unit was not in plain site, it was in the glove department
Awesome outcome. And yeah, your neighbor knew damn well they were stolen when be bought them off his scumbag buddy. When ever you buy a GPS cheap without a manual, box or paperwork you know damn well it’s stolen. To then immediately try and sell it on CL is further proof you knew it was stolen because you obviously bought it cheap enough that you thought you could flip it for a profit.
Who uses them? Pretty much everyone I know. They’re way better than any cloud based smartphone apps. The problem is it doesn’t matter if they’re in plain sight or not. Thieves aren’t looking for the GPS hanging from the window, they’re looking for the telltale suction cup ring on the glass. If you spot that 9 times out of 10 there’s a GPS in the glovebox or center console. I tell people all the time the best bet is to keep some windex wipes in the car and if you have to leave the car on the street or in a big parking lot take the mount down and wipe off the ring mark on the glass. PITA if you don’t have a garage though and park outside every night.
Glove department, you have a call on line 2. Glove department, line 2.
Glad it all worked out man!
