I don’t know if the passenger made it out alive, but from the looks of the cabin the pole stopped right at the firewall. I also just noticed there weren’t any tire marks on the ground to indicate stopping. I’ll see what else I can find about it.

That pisses me off more than anything. People with cash buy these cool cars and then total them because they have no driving skills. Assholes.
From what I’ve read CGT’s have car problems. It could’ve been that. The Enzo on the other hand is user error.
I know with the Koenigsegg you can take a class on how to drive the car after you buy it. A guy opted not to and totaled the car 8 hrs after he bought it.

pretty sure when you buy a CGT from Porsche they send you to a drivers training class. Unfortunately, one driver school isn’t enough for that monster.
Did anyone see the Porsche crash on Arona road in greensburg the other day. 2 killed. Car was so badly damaged the rescue crew wasn’t sure what make it was at first.

I saw the news article, it was unrecognizable. And they said the guy was from Greensburg. Arona gets pretty close to Gbg.
As for the Carrera GT, it’s a lot like liter bikes, but I’m sure there are less deaths than with the bikes. With bikes though, they are cheap and easy to come by, with cars, they are not so cheap, and in a lot of cases, extremely limited production. Really though, I think a few wrecks are over publicized, just because everyone will look at pictures of a wrecked exotic car. There are tons of people like Jay Leno with these cars sitting in a showroom.
