hey i dont know if this helps
but
driveshaft = always spinning whether trans. in neutral or not.
i suspect it has sometihng to do with your clutch.
just wondering… by …low RPM…
what do you mean?
do you mean…when you take off…so you’re just engaging your transmission?
OR
low RPM as in…also when down shifting?
seeing as the vibration only happens when in gear, i tihnk it’s safe to say it has something to do with your gears…
if it was vibrating always…it would be the engine.
hope it helps. Gl man
yea it doesnt happen when i taking off or when im down shifting cause the rpm is rising then. The only time it happens is when im cruising or if i slow down and im still in gear. I checked again i would say it only occurs b/w 1700-2000 rpm and only if im cruising or slowing down, when im taking off its okay.
But i noticed something else the other day. When i shift i hear something engaging or a little clunk right after i put it in gear. This sound comes from the rear to middle of the car, yet another reason why it may just be the driveshaft, maybe it just needs to be balanced? Im gonna be storing the car soon so i guess ill have enough time to check it out then but yea or i might come out to one of the meets to show the problem in person.
Thanks for the help
Does it do it in every gear at that RPM?
i forgot to tell you i noticed that clunk too in your car its ur subframe bushings im like 99.9 % sure well have to check.
nana but this clunk isnt the suspension one its something to do with the driveline cause it only happens when i shift gears. The one your talking about most likely is the bushing.
And yea i mostly only notice the vibrating in 5th,4th,3rd cause 2nd and 1st im usually not in that rpm range for too long.
