another post just said this ran out of money and is being suspended.
I bet the auto makers are glad they spent millions on advertising for this.:bloated:
Well if it truly did use up the billion dollars already it means the automakers sold 200k+ cars in 4 days, so I’d say it was a better return than any of their other advertising this year.
Glad someone finally got it. http://www.hutton-web-design.co.uk/tanker.html
hahahahahaha well played sir
Best save in NYSpeed history.
:bigclap:
That’s one of my favorite skits, my boss and I quote it all the time.

It’s said to see some of the cars that are blown up. But that is the point of the program :gotme:
that was awesome Im still laughing over that… 1 suppose…
lol @ this thread, nice posts Russian.
This volvo is probably worth more than 4500 and if the engine lasted that long…how much of a clunker could it be? kinda sad…
the whole point of the program is to supposedly help the environment. I think it is retarded, but if you are going to participate then do it right. running a volvo till the turbo cries and it catches on fire is not the right way to go about it.
Sooo, how many people here are kicking themselves for getting rid of their clunkers the last few years? Also I thought you had to but a vehicle made in NA, but you don’t, so if I still had my Voyager (combined 18mpg, just made it!) I’d be driving a new Jetta wagon TDI right now. Or an Impreza but that only gets me $3500. I had to fight to get $1200 when I traded in that POS.
