Does anyone on here repair cell phones?
First phone is a gz one commando. I had no business rooting it, but I tried it anyway. I had everything on a memory card, took the card out and lost it. The phone is stuck in start up loop now. It will turn on, say verizon then loop again.
I have no idea. I should have never touched it.
Second phone is droid rzr M.
Ear speaker phone and speaker phone are toast. The external speaker sometimes works I reset the phone.

First one you could probably get to the recovery by holding a couple of buttons on startup. Usually it’s something like the camera and volume up rocker at the same time. Then do a factory reset. I’d come close to bricking a few times romming my Galaxy Nexus. Might involve software if it’s really bad.
I do recall reading something about that. And also something about a file dump?
maybe you’re thinking of the dalvik cache? That should be an option to reset that in the recovery screen.

Well Step 1 is trying to get into recovery mode. Step 2 is doing a system reset from the recovery mode.
Do This from device state powered off:
“With the LED illuminated red, press and hold the Power button+Volume down key+Camera key simultaneuously then release.
The LED illuminates approximately 20-30 seconds after releasing the power button (step 2). The 3-key combination must be pressed within the 1-2 second timeframe that the LED is illuminated.”
