short and simple, I have an LG vx9800. The phone is locked onto where it says “car kit” on the screen. I already did a default settings reset, I can’t find where there is any other option to reset the phone to normal call settings.
did you get it wet by any chance
it was laying next to my couch, so not that I know of. Why would that effect it saying car kit?
my friend was talking on his in the rain, i guess he got a couple water drops in the headphone jack or something but that will make the phone think there are permanently headphones in it, he had to get it replaced by insurance
did his work if he put the earpiece in the phone?

car kit on LG = water damage, or at least the phone thinks its wet. not much you can do
not water necessary goto a verizon store. u may have lint in charger
try rubbing alcohol and a q tip on the charger port.
problem is I bought the phone online, so will a v store be able to do anything for me?
