ah, yes- correction- Kero (and in some cases diesel, I guess) are acceptable/suggested. But be sure to actually lube the chain afterwards, otherwise the dry o-rings will crack anyway.
I did also see several references to Suzuki manuals suggest using kerosene for cleaning the chain.
