a classic defensive manuver. You’re dad is going to need to reach far out of town, or keep calling through the phone book to find a lawyer that they have not retained yet. It’s going to cost a good bit of money, but try national firms with a background in this field that are working in NY State.

now, I’m guessing, if someone proves that the emissions are damaging, the private company (GCF) will be responsible for health effects & cleanup.
In other words: it may be cheaper for them to keep paying to cover it up and grease the wheels. I don’t think any industry underwriter would insure a “small” private company against those kinds of future claims, not now, and surely not cheaply.
so any of you guys who know all the stuff about HF want to direct me to how i can find out if there is long term effect, testing for it being in the system etc.
any medical people out there know of anything we can do to get tested? i am sure a general check up wont suffice.

In a strange “WNY is a small place” related story…
My boss got a new dog from a breeder in Virginia. The breeder called last week and said she had another interested buyer who lived right near my boss, and asked if the buyer could see the dog. So the guy and his wife came over, saw the dog, no problem. Then my boss is watching the news and hears the name “Greenfield” and it catches his attention. Walks over to the TV, and the president of the yellow smoke factory is the guy that came and looked at his dog! He lives on the street behind my boss.
Oh snap, Bottle that yellow smoke and pump it into his house.
really? thats funny. what kind fo dog? what makes it funnier is that when he saw my dog he stopped dead in his tracks, clenched up, stood there and called for me. even better is he called me what noone ever calls me, joey…lol it made him sound even more like he pooped himself. for the record my dog would never hurt anyone…only time he ever gets in a fuss is when he thinks someone might threaten me. and it wasnt the first time greenfield met him so he knew this…
