Charlie Kirk Shot

Same here. I’ve just been gutted since it happened. I’ll be fine for a few hours and then someone will send me a 2 minute segment of him talking to a hardcore liberal, and being the nicest person, and having such a solid conversation. Literally flipping the script on the liberal, and almost putting them in disbelief of how cordial the conversation can be, with 2 people having such opposing views. We need more of this. I saw the BEST quote yesterday, and I believe it to the core.

Charlie wasn’t killed because of what he spoke, he was killed because children were listening”

The man was having a massive impact on the youth of this nation.

trump is saying the shooters father turned him in

$100k reward. Dad was probably a Trump supporter and just paid off what was left of his mortgage, or is going to buy a nice boat. Then will sit there and wonder how he raised such a fuck up.

Effective

….but when you keep trying the same solution to a problem and it just doesn’t work……there’s something to be said for changing your approach.

seems like they have the kid that pulled the trigger. i hope its true for partial closure.

As someone relatively familiar with ballistics, and bullet behavior post impact, if it hit a plate (and I dont even know for sure he was wearing one) the would’ve had to hit the edge PERFECTLY to deflect upwards and impact where it did.

I suspect he was planning a head shot if he even suspected a plate. Not sure how committed he was to the outcome. Lower percentage but a virtual guarantee if achieved. 30-06 at that distance, and with that tool, will not be as repeatable as other options…..even if he practiced and doped ranges. Tons of other factors affecting accuracy as well.

There’s been a lot of armchair quarterbacking that he had to be a “professional", which most of was wholly uninformed speculation. Now that the shitbag has been caught, those speculations are obviously untrue.

This makes me feel like I should have paid more attention to Kirk.

I only know of him and nothing about him.

Just watched his wife speak. That could have gone better IMO.

What’s that supposed to mean?

Just my initial reaction.

She said she hadn’t slept. And there was only about an hour notice that she was speaking.

The “go to our website” message felt out of place. Like an ad in the middle of something too intimate.

It sounded to me like she was taking up his mantle + starting a political career + about to lead people in the Christ acceptance prayer + a call to war. This speaks to the complexity of her grief and time will tell if this will be affective (for @JayS  )

40%+ of Christians don’t vote. 90% of liberals don’t know this… yet.

Admittedly, I dont know a great deal about her. But I do believe that she’s independent and strong enough to know what she wants to do and when she wants to do it. I felt she wanted to send a message that their (Charlie’s) work wasn’t for nothing and their mission didn’t die with her husband.

I sympathize with her cause and her (and her children’s / family’s) loss. She had no reason to make any statements or speeches before she felt it was time to do so. I hope she continues to take on fhe fight for the cause.

WTF Canada

“While playing this video repeatedly, he gave a speech to his students regarding anti-fascism, anti-trans, and how Charlie Kirk deserved for this to occur,” the source claimed.

Also…

Someone I know that works for a public institution said that their union sent them a notification about posting things online because “some groups are actively monitoring posts online and threatening to file complains with employers and the state”

So celebrating an assassination on social media has real world consequences? NO FUCKING WAY!!

The shooter’s texts are supposedly out.

For when the MSM memory holes this…

Tyler Robinson’s roommate, Lance Twiggs, a biological male that identified as transgender who was in a romantic relationship with Robinson, provided evidence including a series of text messages from Robinson on September 10, 2025.

Prosecutors say Twiggs received a text message from Robinson which said, “drop what you are doing, look under my keyboard.”

Twiggs looked under the keyboard and found a note that stated, “I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and I’m going to take it.”

Police found a photograph of this note. Prosecutors say the following text exchange then took place: After reading the note, Twiggs responded, “What??? You’re joking, right???”

Robinson: I am still ok my love, but am stuck in orem for a little while longer yet. Shouldn’t be long until I can come home, but I gotta grab my rifle still. To be honest I had hoped to keep this secret till I died of old age. I am sorry to involve you.

Roommate: you weren’t the one who did it right???

Robinson: I am, I’m sorry.

Roommate: I thought they caught the person?

Robinson: no, they grabbed some crazy old dude, then interrogated someone in similar clothing. I had planned to grab my rifle from my drop point shortly after, but most of that side of town got locked down. Its quiet, almost enough to get out, but theres one vehicle lingering.

Roommate: Why?

Robinson: Why did I do it?

Roommate: Yeah.

Robinson: I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out. If I am able to grab my rifle unseen, I will have left no evidence. Going to attempt to retrieve it again, hopefully they have moved on. I haven’t seen anything about them finding it.

Roommate: How long have you been planning this?

Robinson: a bit over a week I believe. I can get close to it but there is a squad car parked right by it. I think they already swept that spot, but I don’t wanna chance it.

Robinson: I’m wishing I had circled back and grabbed it as soon as I got to my vehicle. … I’m worried what my old man would do if I didn’t bring back grandpas rifle … idek if it had a serial number, but it wouldn’t trace to me. I worry about prints I had to leave it in a bush where I changed outfits. didn’t have the ability or time to bring it with. … I might have to abandon it and hope they don’t find prints. how the f–k will I explain losing it to my old man. … only thing I left was the rifle wrapped in a towel. … remember how I was engraving bullets? The f–kin messages are mostly a big meme, if I see “notices bulge uwu” on Fox New I might have a stroke alright im gonna have to leave it, that really f–king sucks…judging from today I’d say grandpas gun does just fine idk. I think that was a $2k scope.

Robinson: delete this exchange.

Robinson: my dad wants photos of the rifle … he says grandpa wants to know who has what, the feds released a photo of the rifle, and it is very unique. Hes calling me rn, not answering. …

Robinson: since trump got into office [my dad] has been pretty diehard maga. …

Robinson: Im gonna turn myself in willingly, one of my neighbors here is a deputy for the sheriff.

Robinson: you are all I worry about love.

Roommate: I’m much more worried about you.

Robinson: don’t talk to the media please. don’t take any interviews or make any comments. … if any police ask you questions ask for a lawyer and stay silent

Dudes kills a man and is worried about his Dad finding Grandpa’s gun missing. Talk about living in an alternate reality.

my first reaction is that no one texts like that.

reminds me of that scene from Minority Report where Colin Farrell calls it an orgy of evidence when it’s all laid out for you like that.
