88slomaro = the tire mounting/unmounting shiz.
That or Walmart. $3 for unmount
Bring it to me i’ll do it for 10 bucks… sawzall ftw!
anyone know a place that can mount tires on reverse mount wheels? Everywhere i go says they cant do it because their machines cant clamp in on the wheel, they can only clamp out
didn’t you say you had a tire machine?..
…otherwise RPI’s autoshop can do it here.
i think his machine can only do 16 at max
my machine can do up to a 16 and it only clamps out… i need tires mounted on a reverse mount 18X9
Monro at Bj’s wholesale club. They clamp in and out, talk to Stallmer. He should be able to get them done for you. I would do them, but I don’t work there anymore.
I asked the BJ’s in saratoga… they said they can do it for $35 a tire… Im not trying to pay $140 to get 4 tires mounted. Thats a bit insane
its reverse mount thats why.
If you want to stay in Saratoga sears used to do an awesome job for me. Just make sure you have the wheels off the car. They don’t like to touch nicer cars.
Also there is a place by my work who does a really good job. Last time the charged me $18 to mount an 235/40 on an 18x7.5.
IF you are looking to do it in two weeks are so im going to be doing mine then and we can load up all our wheels and tires in my suby wagon of death and get that shit all done at once
What is reverse mount?
you have to put the rin on the machine upside down and the machine clamps out instead of in on the rim.
*i might have the clamping part backwards
I would guess that this is just done to reduce the chance of damage to nice wheels?
That’s why you talk to stallmer. He works at the one in Albany. I use to mount and balance tires for $10 for people I knew. Money in my pocket was always better then money to the company :ninja
Theres a place on Broadway in Schenectady that sells used tires that might be cheap. It just opened.
maybe try the new mavis tire on state st??
I need some 155/80/13s mounted on 13x7’s…no need to balance. Anyone down?
