check engine

alright, here’s a little back ground…

my girl drives a 92 honda civic 1.5l sohc…she broke down the other day…
turns out the rotor inside the distributor hasn’t been changed in awhile, so it was completely broken…

i got new plugs,wires,cap and rotor and swapped them in, but after running for like 3 mins, the check engine light comes on and won’t go out…

so i checked the rotor again, check the wires, that all seams right… now when i take the wires out and check the spark… the 3rd cyl from the left has a spuratic spark…it goes, stops, than will go for a little bit, and stop…and it keeps doing this, than after awhile it’ll work just fine…

anyone have any ideas? i’m lost and don’t wanna give her a car back that’s gonna be fawked up…

ooo and, i was driving it, it was driving fine but had a slight misfire, than i after it warmed up,i drove it a little harder, and it acted like it wasn’t getting anything from one of the cyl.

i really need some help here, and i’d greatly appreciate it…

i checked the codes on the car… and it gave me a barometric pressure code…
