Why do you say that? Do you consider it an Audi? Granted the R8 is based on the Gallardo, but the R8 uses a different motor, transmission, and AWD system.

For a supercar, unimpressive to say the least. It’s as much a Lambo as an original Boxter is a Porsche.

mainly the boxter comparison, not really about the VAG thing.
