While I hear all sides of the story, what it boils down to is she did nothing legally “wrong”. Morally is another story. I’m not a huge fan of the kids exposure, they’re her kids (I suspect) and not mine. I still believe in freedom of speech and many times the speech we hear is linked to a particular feeling, whether it be hatred, joy, sorrow, racism, whatever. If she’s charged with some sort of crime are we now saying that the public’s feelings are now being legislated? What type of speech is considered criminal? Who makes and distributes this list? I watched the video and I don’t know what happened prior. I’m not taking sides but I can tell you that if someone does something that affects my child, whoop ass mode is selected from the pull down menu and it’s game on.
I think every race has a slur for other races because most races (and people) fall into categories…good people and bad. If a slur offends a particular person are you going to use one that will generate a response or one that has little effect?
