cheektowaga

A friend of mine is looking at purchasing a house in cheektowaga. She wants to know how the area is, i’m not too familiar with it.

i believe that parts pretty nice ,my brother lives on fairvale, and my aunt lived over on huxley which was also an ok neighborhood.

It’s okay. Kinda trashy, but not too bad.

Lots of bowlers I think, so take that for what it’s worth.

 what would lots of bowlers do? Do they walk the streets rolling balls everywhere?

what school district is it?

ya thats getting into the trouble part of town, check it out

cleveland hill

she wants to flip it in 5-7 yrs when she’s ready for family/kids. For now it would just be her living there.

I dunno… they are scummy and weird :barf:

i looked at that house on sunday…meh…area isnt too bad, i would move before children got involved ,but for a nice starter home, I dont remember what that house was like though, i looked at a bunch on sunday

Wow… for some reason I’m attracted to her… I think tis the bowling ball…

Tell her to move to the maryvale district, its alot more nice

its a big tax jump though

It would be worth it if she’s going to have kids though,my nephews go to maryvale schools and they do awesome in school.

she wants to be out of that house before kids are an issue. She’s 23, single, just wants to get her own place.

It fails- it’s on the wrong side of the airport.

O…ok then , its probly not the best neighborhood, but its fine for someones first home.

The only problem i see is that area is decent for now, but in 5-6 years when she wants to flip the house it probably won’t be which could be a big hit on her sale.

I’m guessing you can hear the trucks on the 90 pretty clearly at night as well.
