Two of the exhaust manifold bolts broke in my 2002 5.3L Suburban, so I started looking for ARP or other upgraded replacements and I’m not finding anything. Are there any better bolts out there to avoid this happening again? Does anyone have a gasket recommendation for this application?
Mine came out on my 09 but I would think any hardware store would have stainless bolts.
are these metric like the other bolts they switched over on ls style motors?
ace hardware(atleast the one in lockport i go to) has a huge selection of metric compared to other stores.
Thanks guys. I could use bolts I suppose, but they came with studs. It seems like this is a fairly common problem. I was hoping someone would chime in with a known brand/model replacement stud.
