hey to be honest i wasnt really talking about the number of gears lol. I actually think a tremec 6 spd would make this car siqqq I just meant that I just want to see this car with three pedals and not two thats all, i prefer to do the shifting myself. That and i hear that the auto stick in the g8’s kind of sucks.

I think GM learned that the knuckle draggers will kill vehicle sales pretty quick if you revive a muscle car name and you don’t make the car some ugly retro pile of shit… See GTO.

Just call it the Chevy G8. They’ve already spent a bunch of money getting some recognition for the G8 so why start over?

I think it is really stupid to use the name of a car they built in the 70s.

Then, the same thing that happened with the GTO will happen. Instead of appreciating the car for what it is, people will bash it for not being “as good” as its 60s/70s counterpart.

If they just come up with new, original names, I think that people will be more apt to like them for what they are today. Not how they are supposed to live up to what they were then.

That is just my opinion though.

Change nothing about the car, except for going from Pontiac logo to Chevy logo

I wouldn’t go quite that far. You have to ditch the Pontiac signature grill if you’re going to kill the Pontiac name. But as I said earlier, no reason to ditch the G8 name that you’ve spent a bunch of advertising money getting recognition for and that has a bunch of positive reviews.
