^ :ohnoes, nice!

My goal before these tires are shot which will probally be within another 2months i wanna have them chicken strips GONE

Ohhh boy I will bust out the camera tonight.

They may be gone this weekend if the weather holds out for saturday a Friend of mine is coming up from NC with his bike and we are gonna rip around the lake for some fun so who knows

I have a whopping 1/16th inch on my rear tire on the 625 supermoto, Metzeler Sportec M3’s are sticky when they are warm!

i dont have any… not even on my front tire. i almost think that its a bad thing… bc any farther and its a washout… i also love the GE grand pre  vlad might not tho haha(speed of 95mph on the eri side 85 on vlad’s turn)

I dont have any on my rear tire either, and Brooks i wanna check that out of course when you can ride again

Hey GE is our drifting loop GTFO :rofl

Still not comprehending what chicken strips are.

Those turns are near identical, the Eri side has the manhole cover too, so typically tends to be slower :lol

Not a bad speed though. Must be nice having it on the way to the house.

I still love the turn, I’m just a lot more cautious around it now.

Chicken strips are the un-used or scrubbed portions of your rear or front tire.

They get un-used because the rider doesn’t lean far enough over.

Leaning comes with balls and skill.

Typically it’s a quick way to judge other riders of their skill, holding some exceptions because everybody considers themselves Rossi when you talk to them.

Leaning like this, leaves no chicken strips.

They are the bit of rubber that is unworn on your tire at the edges, as in you were too chicken to lean over further. If you look closely at Icon’s pics you can see the scrub marks and the unworn, slightly shiny rubber from where dirt and road grime has built up and not been worn off.

Or that.

Understood. Would make fun of as well.

Mine is just balled up melted rubber, does that count? :tongue

So what happens if you hit a small rock or patch of sand in the road?
