Chris's project car on rotisserie

chris (canadiandrifter240sx) is building up an early 91’ chassis. he has completely stripped everything from the car and has already begun seam welding various parts of the car.

this week he finished building a rotisserie for the car and balanced it all this evening while these pics were shot.

the venue is our shop in St. Catharines.

tried to shrink them to fit them nicely in here but i cant get it to go, so here are the links

iono, they sent us an e-mail with info about when we get our DVD versions of the show, but no information when it airs yet

lookin good so far…

wow thats pretty intense…love to see a good build up, u are going to keep us up to date with this right?

I built this rotisserie myself. I used scrap pipe from work so the whole thing only cost me $70 for the casters.

The car will be completely striped of all under coating and rust and any week spots will be replaced. There will be no rust on this car anywhere when it is done.

Also every seem will be welded and resealed. This is a big project but i think it will be worth it.

I will keep you posted on the chassis build up.

thats awesome dude

i hope one day i can do something this for serious

awesome!!! if i had time to do that and didnt have to worry about studies

id probally do the same with my dad thats pretty awesome and good

man that’s hardcore, I can’t wait to see what the end will look like. And…so you guys planning to bring that to a summer meet and have a big ass bbq with an ox or moose on it?

We were thinking a whole cow.

why dont we just cook a 240?

I’ll bring the entre… …smoked avs es100’s for everyone!!!

Nice job Chris, hurry up and get your car finished so I can mount the Kouki on er.

So it looks like you aren’t going to be needing that re-bar seeing how you
just welded your rotisierrie to it?

That’s some good shit. Anyone who can do shit like this with metal gets
my my respect.

respect and a keg of Corona.

it wont matter, rebars are a dime a dozen and his will still be reusable afterwards anywho.

ooee this cars gona be a mighty machine…

project bastard deer hunter child is under way.

chris picked it up for a dime and a dash and the previous owner hit a deer with it messing up a quarter.

upon rotating the car tonight 2 shotgun shells fell out of the rear wheel wells.

if that doesnt mean this cars cool i dono what does!!!

chris needs some sponsors hook him up!!

Damn!! I wanted to do this on my project too but did’nt have the time :frowning: Maybe next winter I’ll strip her down again and do it.

Any way good job, can’t wait to see it done!

That looks good Chris. I can’t wait to see the whole thing completed

yea thats all I’m doing…

just as easy to get the grinder out and cut it off as it is to weld it on

That’s impressive.

Good luck with the build-up Chris.
