Chris's project car on rotisserie

Aye, try to avoid it…

I do not intend on hiting a wall but I do not intend to baby this car when its done.

Prodigy do you know how much the stuff you mentioned cost?

Expect materials for complete paint, including primers, reducers, catalysts, hardeners, etc. to be around $750-1000 for this sort of job.

Again, you are right to an extent. Many of the etching and surfacing primers require cleaning and preparation from special solvents and acids of their own before they can work properly. I’ve chosen to show Chris a few that are a little lighter in “pre-prep” work though.

Thanks for the compliment but I am still, by no means, an expert. I too have a lot to learn, and I don’t ever intend to stop doing so.

Chris, when you’re interested in getting this done, if you want to do a TOP quality job let me know and I’ll speak to a few painters with more experience than I have. I’m sure their insight will be more beneficial.

Well its been a while since the last update so I thought I would let you guys know whats happening.

I have not had alot of time to spend on Bastard Child because of other project I am working on for customers but I have got a few things done.

I have been working on all the week spots, replacing anything that may cause problems in the future, the engine bay and the front of the car have been completely stripped and I sent my subframe out for sandblasting and then I recoated it.

Full Bings.ca multi link will be going on and there are Bings.ca subframe bushings on the frame already.

I will try to get pics up tonight.

Well that is all for now more to come soon.

photos no worky… maybe its because i dont have an account.

Yeah i took the links down I will ave to find another way to post them. I may just put them on the same page as the other pics later.

Pictures of the subframe have been added to the end of the existing Bastard Child photo album here: http://spaces.msn.com/canadiandrifter/
