Wrong, data devices follow IMEI numbers, so if you have a blackberry or any PDA phone, you can’t just swap sim cards.

I dunno, verizon website works pretty quick with esn changes.

For what this guy needs, it does work easily with the SIM. I’ve only swapped non-data phones with my SIM and it’s worked flawlessly.
